The Kingdom of God is still in heaven and will be established on earth at Christ’s return. However, we are already considered its citizens. Thus, our loyalties and submission go to it before everything else.
One of the key verses in the letter of Paul to the Colossians… “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” – Colossians 1:13-14
