Abraham, who was the father of the Jewish people, is an example of what real faith looks like. He left everything to follow God’s promise of a new home and new future. Abraham left a legacy of courage!
Fathers are teachers. Not should be or could be! Every father is.

From our fathers, we learn that life is opportunity that must be lived with courage. The best life requires risk. “Unless there is an element of risk in our exploits for God, there is no need for faith.” (missionary Hudson Taylor)
Faithful fathers help their young learn that life is filled with opportunities.
God commands us in Exodus 20:12 to “honor your father and you mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.”
Fathers are the authors of the home! One reason God commands us to honor our fathers is because in the verb form of the word “father” … means “the founder … to be the foundation … to author.”
