Baptism
Baptism represents a powerful step of obedience and a public proclamation of faith in Jesus Christ. It pictures our union with Him in His death, burial, and resurrection—signifying the cleansing from sin and the start of a transformed life in Him. By being baptized, a believer openly affirms their decision to follow Christ, showing that the old self has been put to death and they have been raised to live in the freedom of new life.
It serves as the visible sign of an inner change, the beginning of a lifelong walk with God. We normally celebrate baptisms during our services on the fourth Sunday of each month.
Colossians 2:12 (NIV): “having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.”
COMMUNION
The Lord’s Supper (also called Communion) is a holy practice in which we come together to honor and remember Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. In our services we share bread and juice, which represent His body and blood given for the forgiveness of our sins. This time of remembrance invites us to reflect on His love, examine our own hearts, and renew our commitment to follow Him. We normally observe it on the first Sunday of every month.
As 1 Corinthians 10:16 (NIV) says, “Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ?” In this way Communion becomes a powerful expression of our shared life with Christ and with one another.
BABY DEDICATIONS
Children are a precious gift from God, and we deeply value every family!
Baby dedications form a special moment in our services. Here, parents who want to honour God in how they raise their children publicly commit to bringing them up in the knowledge and love of the Lord. They promise to nurture their child’s spiritual growth, teach biblical values, and point them toward a personal relationship with Jesus. We rejoice that, through the support of our church family, we can raise children God’s way—together, with love and mutual accountability.
We believe full-immersion water baptism is a personal step of faith that every individual should take for themselves once they are old enough to understand and decide.Baby dedications usually take place during our services on the third Sunday of each month.
Proverbs 22:6 (NIV): “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
